Why should I sign up to receive new articles?

How do I sign up?

You obviously came to this page because you enjoyed one of my articles; by subscribing, you will get notified every time I publish a new article to my blog, and you can then decide whether to read it or not.Subscribing to this on-line magazine means you will be in control of what you read, and when to read it; not someone else. It also means that you will be able to stay on top of new developments and ideas to help you enrich your life, exercise your brain, and develop better spiritual awareness. If you want more reasons to sign up, I have written below a list that may help you make up your mind.

Top 10 reasons why I should sign up to receive new articles (for free!) from The Crazy Colombian’s
  1. Because his writing often weaves seemingly disconnected ideas into coherent and new perspectives on spiritual, environmental, and personal development; and I love gaining new perspectives about how to live a better, more fulfilling life (Read How to reach your goals for an example)
  2. Because he covers important yet less well-known environmental news & tips (Read Renewable energy? Go fly a kite! for an example)
  3. Because he often gives me useful techniques to be more productive & effective in my personal and professional life (Read 5 Things you need to know before you write your next email for an example)
  4. Because even when he makes mistakes, his writing is sensible and fun to read, and often brings a smile to my face (ReadWant some wisdom? Have a Baci’ for an example)
  5. Because I am his Mum
  6. Because I am his friend
  7. Because I am neither his Mum nor his friend, but would love to be either! (Hint: I become friends with people that sign up to receive new articles for free, and with people that interact often by leaving thought provoking or encouraging comments to my posts)
  8. Because he is a fan of Dan Millman  (just like me!) and often writes on Dan’s books, seminars, or ideas (Read ‘The Peaceful Warrior Series’ for some examples)
  9. Because he is a Jack Lalane fan, and keeps publishing things he thought about while watching/reading/learning from Jack (Click here for articles about Jack Lalane)
  10. Because he asked me to (look to your right for instructions on how to sign up by email; click here to sign up on a news reader, and click here to follow me on Twitter)

On a News Reader

Some people prefer to use a ‘News Aggregator’ or ‘Syndicated News reader’ like Google Reader, Bloglines, or NewsGator. These programs allow you to collect all of  your on-line subscriptions into one single program. This means you don’t get interrupted with subscription emails, and whenever you feel like catching up on your favourite on-line magazines, you are just a click away. News readers will regularly ‘ping’ your subscriptions; check for new articles since your last reading session, and highlight them for you so it is easy to find out What’s New at your favourite blogs.

If you want to sign up to receive new articles on a Newsreader, click the button below.

Via Twitter

I am sure you have heard many exciting & fascinating news just by standing around the water cooler at work and having a quick conversation with your colleagues, right? Twitter is the internet equivalent of the water-cooler. Promoted by its’ creators as a micro-blogging’ platform, you can sign up for a free Twitter account and ‘follow’ people you would like to know about.

By following me on Twitter, you will get notified any time I publish a new article on this on-line magazine. You will also get some short messages & announcements that are too short to publish on my blog; and you will get the opportunity to interact in on-line Q&A sessions with me and other people that follow my writing.

If you want to be notified when I publish new articles by following me on twitter, click on this link, which will take you to my twitter profile; once there, click on the ‘Follow me’ button.

Important Note: Please be aware that this subscription method puts more of an onus on you to check my twitter updates regularly; if you miss one of my ‘New article’ notices, you will likely not realise I have published something new.
